h so many mobile phones available in today's marketplace it is becoming more and more difficult to distinguish a market leading handset that will do everything that you could possibly need and that will last you for the duration of your mobile phone contract. This is made particularly difficult in the UK as mobile phone contracts are typically 18 or 24 months. One phone that does stand out however is the Nokia N95 8gb [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but can it live up to the hype?
Nokia as we all know are the market leaders when it comes to number of handsets sold annually. They are very good at making mobile phone devices that are easy to use and that look good. The Nokia N95 is their flagship device and for this reason it was one of the most eagerly anticipated handsets of 2007. With the release of the iphone to the marketplace, Nokia has responded by releasing an 8gb version of the handset which has been warmly received by Nokia fans everywhere.
It is not only the internal memory that has been improved on the latest release. The battery life has been improved as well. This was an obvious flaw on the original version of the phone and Nokia has worked hard to improve on this. On the new model you can expect to get between 2-3 days battery life [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which is not the best in the market but is good considering the amount of applications on the phone.
One downside to the new version of the Nokia N95 8gb is the lack of external memory. This means that you now need to connect the phone directly to a PC to transfer data. This is somewhat annoying if you like to sync the phone on a regular basis. Overall this is a wonderful phone. Nokia have done well to extend the product life cycle of an already record breaking design.
For the latest
