Death row inmate gets more time to file appeal
A court clerk says in a filing this month that the Supreme Court is allowing Troy [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]' attorneys until January 21 to file the appeal.

His attorneys are now appealing that decision to the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court granted [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] that hearing in 2009, and a federal judge ruled in August that the evidence he presented wasn't strong enough to prove his innocence.

ATLANTA (AP) - A Georgia death row inmate who claims he was wrongly convicted has been given more time to file an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
