n we can have our first modern leather suite either at home or in the office the first thing that comes to our mind is how to take care of it because as we know leather suite do not come as ordinary sofas or furniture and are pretty expensive. People love to have them in their homes because they provide good look and class inside the living room. In the office they are probably the most comfortable place where you can sit your guest and talk about business. So it is no wonder people who have them want to know how to protect them and get them going for years. Eventually just like other furniture they may face some risk from scratches from pets and stains from kids. Pets especially cats could scratch them hard and cause damage to the soft leather finish while dogs can gnaw at those corners and can really ruin them. However you can avoid having pets inside the house or if unavoidable cover your great looking leather with a tough cloth just to make them safe. That will do the trick for the meantime. The problem now is how you can remove the stains your little children may cause on them.
Taking Those Stains Away
Those spills from food sauce, soft drinks, candies, chocolates, catsup and endless spills from your children can really mess up the leather finish of your modern leather suite and if you do not know how to wash those up the stain can stay there permanently. Ugly stains can really spoil the handsome look of your leather suite which must not happen. However,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], do not worry that much because there are basic ways in cleaning up stains on leather and they always work and here are some of them:
1. Take note that leather is a natural material from hides of animals so they can repel liquids just like our skin. However if spills left unclean for a while the liquid may spread and can be absorbed by the leather slowly so better wipe out quickly what was spilled on them. Sometimes water spill may look like dark stains because this was absorbed by the leather but do not worry it will dry out. Nevertheless for more precaution you can wipe the liquid slowly with soft dry cloth because some leather may whiten a bit if the oil in it is mixed with any liquid.
2. If you have serious stains use moisturizing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], non-acidic soap like mild body soap or saddle soap in cleaning it. Avoid soaking your leather with too much water but get a wet cloth, lather it with the soap and rub it slowly on the stain. Avoid rubbing in circular rotation but must be back and forth or from side to side motion. When the stain is gone wipe the area with a soft cloth and let it dry. If you notice that there are stains left you can do the same process but do not use stronger elements that have acid in it.
3. Finally it is important to note that if the above process do not work you may ask your vendor for cleaning liquid that are specifically made for removing stains on leather. The store surely have the cleaning ingredients for different types of leather so you better have some of them just in case something messes up your favorite modern leather suite.
