Revolutionary method gives more hope for premature babies.

One of the most feared complications in babies born prematurely is cerebral hemorrhage.

'Premature babies are particularly at risk of bleeding because in the middle stages of pregnancy, the fetus has many frail veins in the middle of the brain,' explains Professor Andrew Whitelaw, professor of neonatal medicine who led the study.
