The Go RVing website has been redesigned to include animated interactive screens and talking critters called "ambassadors of affordability." A fox, an owl, a bison, and other creatures introduce the various pages and chat about RVs. The animals' hokey accents give a certain whimsy [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but after a while the user may want to take advantage of the "sound off" control to shut them up.
The new Ambassadors campaign was launched during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Small is the new big, as the ad mavens would say. Suite101's been talking to RVers who are looking for a new rig, and while most still want to "move up" to a larger rig, a notable number are wanting to downsize.
Critters aside, the interactive format will keep visitors entertained and extend viewing time at the site. The information is as solid and helpful as in last year's site but is presented in a livelier fashion.
