Flag DayShare this Blog Entry: Indulge me for a moment to honor American Flag Day (today, June 14th).We live in a very paradoxical world where we mostly know that we are all one and that we should all practice feelings of inclusiveness (meaning that we are not separate from each other) rather than exclusionary thinking (as if we are better or different than our brothers and sisters of other countries (which we are not)).While I8217;m proud to be an American, you won8217;t find any American flags on my lawn, truck, house, or even at work (unless all of the flags of the countries we do the most business in are represented as well (I did this with our last company)).It8217;s not that I8217;m against the flying of our flag, but rather my statement is that I8217;m for the human race, rather than the American only race.Read Lance8217;s article, Franchise Work Vehicles Should Have a Flag on Them8221; as I liked his perspective on how the franchising model is much like the USA model of business or government.I hope some day we are able to come together as a people to rise up above narrow minded thinking from both government and religious leaders.So, on American Flag Day, here8217;s a toast to worldwide pride, pride in each other and our uniqueness 8230;with a realization that some day in our lifetime, I hope we8217;re able to see an 8220;Earth Flag Day8221;8230; one that celebrates worldwide unity rather than division and separation.I now return you to our regularly scheduled Article Marketing blog already in progress.
