Alex Ovechkin has a abundant list of endorsements because of his rock star status in Russia Federation and stunning performance on the ice for the Washington Capitals. Signing a new deal is nothing out of the ordinary for him. However his new deal is with Gillette his grooming company which is irony because of Ovechkin's often sloppy appearance. The Russian superstar has been lax about his facial hair in the past and even his teammate was confused that Gillette would want to sign a player so carefree about his grooming.
