You know them, you know what they've done, and you know how they've done it.
As in [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] and DeAngelo Williams,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Carolina Panther ball carriers who have tormented the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of seasons past.
Stay tuned.
Can the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stop the run?
Morris and the rest of us will know a lot more about this Buccaneers team come Sunday afternoon around 4 p.m.
Can they end the [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]-Williams nightmare that has haunted them?
Would be nice if Raheem Morris' charges can come up with that kind of a result on Sunday in Charlotte.
Fact is, come Sunday, the Carolina starting quarterback will be either Notre Dame newbie Jimmy Clausen or the concussed Matt Moore.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Two-Headed Nightmare, Williams and [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
There wasn't much run production in Carolina's loss last week to the New York Giants. Williams managed only 63 yards on 16 carries. [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] had an insignificant 12 yards on just five touches.
Perhaps, just perhaps, this is the cure: Gerald McCoy, Brian Price, a stronger defensive line, and an improved linebacking corps.
It's called rushing yardage—lots of it.
Either way, Carolina wants to take the heat off of them and you know the obvious answer—run the football.
I have two dirty words for you, Buccaneer fans: [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] and Williams.
This pair of Carolina running backs has been the disease that has crippled the Tampa Two more often than not.
