Temat postu: Chengdu Calling The World
The global one-stop call center solutions provider, US-based Vision-X. Inc., recently established its western China call center in Tianfu Software Park, Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan province.
The new center will offer services to many multinationals like Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Kodak, Mary Kay and Mitsubishi. It has a capacity up to 2000 seats, equivalent to the total number of its call centers in Shanghai and Guangzhou. Besides the existing customers, it plans to serve local enterprises here.
Why did Vision-X choose Chengdu as important part of its strategic expansion in China, amid the global financial crisis? Liu Qianli, president of Vision-X China explained, as a service provider which always puts its customers' needs first, Vision-X chose Chengdu where costs of operation, production and labor are relatively low, resources of talented personnel abundant, and local culture and characteristics of industries unique. Industrial insiders disclose that with the settlement in Chengdu, Vision-X will implement an ambitious plan in the hinterland in China's southwest region.
In May, Sichuan province concluded a stragetic agreement with China's three top telecom operators: China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom, to put 100 billion yuan in communication infrastructure, hub building and popularity of information. Of the amount,
Offshore outsourcing
, nearly 50 billion will be invested in Chengdu. "West China Information Center" has been under construction in Chengdu. It will be the most important hub for information exchange and processing in west China.
By the end of this year, Chengdu will be built into the fourth international communication outlet, following Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. So far, the 95533 Command Center of China Construction Bank, the second national call center of Merchants Bank, China Telecom Disaster Recovery Service Center and the largest telecommunications outsourcing services call center in west China, and national call center of Tencent have been established in Chengdu.
Having same strategic consideration as Vision-X, more and more domestic and overseas enterprises and companies see the development opportunities in Chengdu. Just because of the rapid development of calling industry in Chengdu, the China Best Contact Center and CRM Industry Summit 2009 will be held on September 27 -29 in the city.
It is sponsored by the Call Center,
custom software development
, BPO Industry Information Network, the China Call Center, BPO Industry Alliance (CNCBA), China's software outsourcing industry and services, and co-sponsored by the Chengdu Tianfu software park in the city's hi-tech zone. Senior officials from many world 500 enterprises will be present at the event.
Participants will see the Asia-Pacific regional head of Israel NICE Group, the world's largest audio-visual system providers,
Print solution outsourcing
, the Greater China region general manager of the U.S. Aspect, general manager of the Greater China region of ibm.com, vice president of Avaya China, president of Vision-X, Inc, as well as many other business representatives from Cisco, DHL (DHL),
Outsourcing Solution For Retail Goods
, Haier,

, Asus, etc. A broader space for cooperation is expected for calling, BPO and CRM industries of China and other parts of the world.
