FromthechangesintheRamanscat-teringintensityoftheSRESspectrum, itcanbeinferredthattheimportantsitesofinteractionarethecentralcarboniumionandnitrogen. Thefactthattheappearanceofnewpeaksandintensityenhancementinthewavenumberregionrangingfromabout1200to1320cm_. showsthatP-O-CorGa-O-Cbondmightbeformed. Thebondisgeneratedfromthesharingelectrone-tweenthecentralcarboniumionandoxygenatomwithtwoelectronpairsontheGaPsurface. Theincreasesofthesurfacescatteringintensityforthebreathingmodeoftheentiremolecule, N-phenylstretchingandringC - Cstretchingmodesareobservedsimultaneously.
