Casey Affleck's first script sale (a collaboration with Matt Damon) was for the live-action film Gerry, directed by Gus Van Sant. The movie starred both Damon and Affleck.

Seriously though, the younger Affleck just sold his second screenplay to WB [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the cleverly-titled Aardvark Art's Ark (okay, that's the last time, I promise). This upcoming animated film deals with the adventures of an aardvark family stuck on board Noah's Ark. Needless to say, this is a family-oriented flick.
No word as yet on how much Casey got paid for this script [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who's starring in it. when the movie hits theatres, or how many journalists will ransack their dictionaries trying to jam as many 'A' words in their headlines.
