FromthechangesintheRamanscat-teringintensityoftheSRESspectrum, itcanbeinferredthattheimportantsitesofinteractionarethecentralcarboniumionandnitrogen. Thefactthattheappearanceofnewpeaksandintensityenhancementinthewavenumberregionrangingfromabout1200to1320cm_. showsthatP-O-CorGa-O-Cbondmightbeformed. Thebondisgeneratedfromthesharingelectrone-tweenthecentralcarboniumionandoxygenatomwithtwoelectronpairsontheGaPsurface. Theincreasesofthesurfacescatteringintensityforthebreathingmodeoftheentiremolecule, N-phenylstretchingandringC - Cstretchingmodesareobservedsimultaneously. Forthedyemoleculestherearetwomainconfigurationsadopted: flatandend-on, judgingfromthechangesoccurringinthevibrationsinvolvinginthecarboniumionandnitrogen. REFERENCES: [1] [7] HayashiS.
