Bye Bye WYSIWYG
Bye Bye WYSIWYGShare this Blog Entry: Today marks the death of our WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) submission interface editor tool.Primary challenge is that the greater majority of authors are not interested in learning how to use a basic TEXT editor and they want to be able to post their articles from a copy-and-paste from Microsoft Word.We are sacrificing a 8220;pretty8221; submission tool in order to reduce the barrier to entry for newbies,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], plus we have new software that will be able to reformat articles by any line length for the ezine publishers who still send in ASCII TEXT to their list.As another bonus,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], articles in our database will no longer have the Microsoft bloated hidden control characters that hundreds of authors sent in without knowing it.By Friday,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the WYSIWYG editor references will be purged from our site.Any comments?
The Court of Appeal pointed out that R and F's submission in the county court was of overt, conscious racism, and it was not prepared to find that there had been unconscious discrimination. The decisionThe Court of Appeal said that, unlike the ordinary civil claim where the judge decides, on the claimant's evidence only, whether the claimant has made out a case, in this case the judge had had the benefit of the whole of the evidence. Despite the school's failure to comply with the statutory requirements, the judge had been entitled to find on the basis of all the evidence that R and F had not proved racial discrimination.
