Kampfer, [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Lucic and Stuart all skate at practice
WILMINGTON, Mass. – It appears that the Bruins dodged a few health bullets while getting a rosier outlook on some injured players at same time.
The Bruins skated for an hour on Sunday doing mostly power play work, and [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Steve Kampfer, Milan Lucic and Mark Stuart all skated through a regular practice workload with their teammates. Kampfer was wearing a full face cage to protect his broken nose, and was a full participant despite a fitful night of sleep while holding an ice bag up to his injured face.
“I had a hard time breathing out there, but it did get easier as things went along,” said Kampfer, who indicated there no doubt he’d be playing Monday afternoon.
[link widoczny dla zalogowanych] was checked out by doctors following Saturday’s loss to the Penguins after he took a pretty healthy shot to the head, and the playmaking center said that he was feeling good and confident after bouncing back from feeling “woozy” 24 hours earlier.
Lucic appears to be a game time decision,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but it looks like he may be ready to play after missing three games with an undisclosed injury.
Andrew Ference skated prior to practice and remains “questionable” for Monday afternoon’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes while Mark Stuart (broken right hand) still hasn’t been cleared to practice.
